"A Blizzard employee will never ask you for your account information" is a rule to live by.
Thanks for the heads up though!

Something to notice, the email address to send back to was: wowaccountreviewal@gmail.com
It is a gmail.com address, not a "blizzard.com" address. For me, beyond the glaringly obvious problems with the notion of Blizzard people asking for personal information and account info (if they send you an email, they have your account info, seriously), the fact that the email address is to a free email system, that would raise further suspicion.
Like others have said, thanks for this post. It will hopefully help others. There are more than a few things in it that raise major red flags.

OK, all you people that say "eye d0n't nead 2 no good speling and gramar", this email stands out, not because it looks like it was written by l337 speaker, but it does have some obvious errors that I don't think a billion dollar a month company would let out, especially if they threaten to "taking legal actions against your crime"
Stuff that grammar jockeys let slide in forums posts shouldn't appear in official correspondence.
PS
The line I quoted from the email made me lol an was the biggest red flag for me. EVERYONE in blizzard's legal dept. knows that it is not a crime to sell your account. It is against their rules and they have every right to ban you, but crime?!?!!? Like call 911 somebody sold their account!!!!!1111oneone
