Hello everyone, I have a quick question for you all. 4 months ago I got sick of WoW and decided to take a break do to over raiding and just lack of interest. I'm starting to get cravings so I'm starting up my subscription again. I just wanted to know if anything big happened in the last 4 months that I should know about so I don't feel left out. How did that in game voice feature turn out? How's ZA? Thanks in advance. Fonstump.

In game voice was a flop, mostly everyone leaves it disabled. Not raiding anymore so I don't know how ZA is.

I tried it out once, the sound quality sucked compared to vent, and since I've got access to a half dozen or so vent servers, I saw no reason really to ever use it again.
The only other change recently is S3 is out and veterans gear was replaced with vindicators gear.

We use voice all the time, not everybody hates it.
Main thing is the easier leveling which means you can start an alt and not get pissed off with lveling it up. Magic.

Do you noticeably level up a lot faster or is it something more subtle? Like only cutting off a day or two of leveling.

If you just go through the quests as fast as possible and know your way round it cuts a hell of a lot of time off.
I leveled a paladin recently to lvl 41 in less than 2 days /played, and a hunter 20-30 in a few hours.

Imo, levelling is noticeably quicker now. Not only have Blizzard reduced the amount of xp needed to level, you are also rewarded more xp for handing in quests. Not to mention the greatly improved drops from dungeons (excluding Stockades for some reason ).
